The Cabot Trail is a hidden gem in Atlantic Canada.
It takes a full day to ride around the trail that consists of about 6 hours of saddle time, and 4 hours of stopping to enjoy the views, food, and general landscape. Much of your time is riding along the coastline, with constant turns that follow the rocky cliffs.
The riding loop can be done clockwise or counterclockwise, which provide a unique experience both ways. The Freedom Biker Tours Road Captain Rob, prefers counter clockwise for 2 reasons. Mostly because starting in Baddeck, you spend most of the day without the sun in your eyes, and on the right hand side of the road, there is not another lane of traffic between you and the view.
Be sure to stop at get your shirt that you can only get at locations like the Wreck Cove General store.
