Halifax Nova Scotia is one of the older communities in North America.  
Home to one of the worlds largest natural protected harbours, it was the starting point for many wartime convoys many decades ago.

The history and events that have unfolded here - such as the Titanic victims being brought here, the Halifax explosion near the end of World War I.
The site was of strategic importance many years before as well, when European settlers were first making their way to these new lands.
